QR menu for restaurants, bistros and cafés — 11 languages, allergens by law
A QR menu that speaks your guest's language.
Enter the menu once. FoodSignal translates it into 11 languages, shows allergens with names in the guest's language and your guest opens it the moment they scan the QR code — no app, no login. A price change lands on the guest's phone, not in the printer.
The QR menu is part of Signal at €199 a year excl. VAT

What the menu does
The market's hygiene minimum — languages, allergens, daily menu, printable QR codes, statistics — plus a link to your price list and reviews that a stand-alone QR menu does not have.
A menu in 11 languages, no translator app
Slovak, Czech, English, German, Hungarian, Polish, Italian, Spanish, French, Ukrainian and Russian. AI translates with a gastronomy glossary — bryndzové halušky stay halušky, with an explanation in brackets. Whatever you correct by hand is never overwritten by the machine again. The guest's language is picked from their phone and switches with one tap.
Allergens by law — never machine-translated
The 14 allergens of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, each with its number and name in all 11 languages from a fixed glossary, not from a translator. Guests see them on every item and in the legend, and can filter out what they must avoid — by diet too: vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, spicy.
Daily menu and a QR code for every table
The daily menu has its own link and QR code and always sits at the top with today's date. Print the QR code for the venue, the daily menu and individual tables (the table number only feeds statistics) from templates: A6 stand, stickers, A4 poster. Sold-out items are hidden with one switch.
One price, one source of truth
The price of an item in the menu is the same price you see in Prices and that Signal compares with competitors. Change it once — the guest sees it immediately, the price list and the area comparison recalculate, and nothing gets reprinted.
Statistics a paper menu never had
How many guests opened the menu, in which language, which items and sections they looked at, whether they came from a QR code or a link, and how many went on to leave a Google review. Anonymous — no IP address, no tracking cookies.
Import from PDF, photo or CSV
Upload your existing menu — a PDF, a photo of the menu card or a CSV table. AI splits it into sections and items with prices, you check the draft in a table and insert it. Items you already have in your price list are not duplicated.
How it works
From a PDF to a QR code on the table
Upload the menu
A PDF, a photo or a CSV; if your price list is already in Prices, the items are there. Fix the draft in a table and insert it into sections.
Switch on languages
Pick the languages for your guests. Translations run in the background — saving never waits for them — and you can override any of them by hand. Allergens are translated in advance.
Print the QR codes
Print the QR code for the venue, the daily menu and the tables from the A6, sticker and A4 templates. Publish — and every later change is on the guest's phone instantly.
From creating the venue to a printable QR code in under 15 minutes. Edit the menu any time; the guest always sees the current version.

FAQ
QR menu FAQ
Does the menu meet the duty to inform about allergens?
Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 requires information on 14 allergens. The menu shows the allergen numbers on every item and a legend with the names in the footer; the names come from a fixed glossary in every language, never from a translator — “gluten” is always “Gluten” in German. Assigning allergens to dishes correctly remains the venue's responsibility; the menu makes it easy with 14 switches per item.
What if a guest has no internet?
The QR code opens a web page, so the guest needs mobile data or your Wi-Fi. The page is light and the first view comes straight from the server — no app, no login — so it works on a weak signal too. You can show the Wi-Fi password right in the menu — in the footer, next to the contact details.
What happens when I change a price?
You change the price once — in the menu or in Prices; both read the same value. The guest sees the new price right after you save, Prices records the change and the competitor comparison recalculates. Translations are not rewritten on a price change — prices and currencies are never translated.
Can the menu run on our own domain?
Yes, for example menu.yourvenue.com. You add one CNAME record at your domain provider following the instructions in the menu settings, and we set up the rest. The original address keeps working, so printed QR codes need not change.
What do you store about guests? Is it GDPR-compliant?
The menu uses no tracking cookies and no third-party analytics; the only cookie remembers the language the guest chose. Statistics are anonymous: we never store or log the IP address, a guest is counted within a day through a one-way hash, and times are rounded to the minute. The menu collects no guest names or contact details.
How much does the QR menu cost?
The QR menu is part of Signal, which costs €199 a year excl. VAT. It comes with 11 languages, per-item statistics and a custom domain, at no extra cost.
